At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special Dealer project as well as highlight exceptional people in the business. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with the talented Nicole Bradford and Elegant Cabinetry and Design on many residential projects in the Vail, Colorado area. Today, we continue to celebrate Nicole’s winning project from the 2023 Kitchen Contest—Bentwood Non-traditional project category— and the design excellence that also earned her the Bill Algier Award. Let’s take a closer look at this stunning Beaver Creek Kitchen project.
Creating More Space for the Kitchen Remodel
The client’s vision for the kitchen remodel project was to create an entertaining kitchen within a limited floor plan. Exploring the best opportunities, Nicole utilized Family Room space for the new kitchen design creating an area four times the original kitchen footprint.
The star of the kitchen appliances is the 48 inch professional Wolf Range. A workhorse for all the cooking and baking needs of the residence.
And of course, the custom hood above the range provides essential ventilation and a visual showstopper. Integrated coffee, microwave, and panel-ready refrigeration/freezer round out the appliance offerings with superior product performance and longevity.
Contemporary Details Make a Perfect Match
For the cabinetry, luxury materials set the stage for this Contemporary open design.
The Bentwood Estate door was selected for its straightforward point of view. Premium walnut with goldenrod stain was a natural material choice for the kitchen perimeter. Walnut Grain matching details showcase the expert level of craftsmanship and allow the natural beauty of the wood shine through.
On the large kitchen island, Sherwin Williams color match 6991 “Black Magic” was specified for painted cabinetry giving that high contrasting design element.
For the stone countertops and backsplash, modern quartz material tied the composition together in dramatic style. The stone-clad hood with meticulous pattern matching created a focal opportunity that enhanced this luxury kitchen design.

Modern design is often deceiving with its visually clean lines and minimalism. Another level of detail and professional execution is what is necessary to create the WOW projects. In this winning kitchen design, Nicole successfully incorporates this stunning fireplace into the open floor plan that exudes Mountain Contemporary living.
