This Design Resource Center is open To the Trade by appointment, so call ahead to register and set up your meeting.

Thoughtful Showcase Design
Designing one space that captures the pulse of the Austin market is challenging, but Shawna Roorda of Bentwood of Houston and Austin persevered. Selecting worthy door styles and finishes is one thing, but reflecting what is both current and has longevity is quite another. As tastemakers, it is our mission to present a current point of view. Additionally, we have over 100 samples on site to reflect a multitude of styles.
Let’s Take a Tour
First up, a custom minimal framed door style featuring Bentwood’s crafted Timber finish.
The Focal Wall
Tall Storage elements are on trend and seeing what’s behind the cabinetry is all about function! Here we see the doors open to reveal a coffee and steam oven combination.
To the right of this design, we find a pullout storage tower, perfect for dry goods.
From our Modern Texture Series is the slatted door style “Jun,” featured in Platinum stain.
The Wolf Contemporary Gas Cooktop along with an integrated hood liner is professional-grade and ready for your cooking needs.
Did you see the gorgeous countertop fabrication by Moderno Porcelain Works on Cosentino Dekton slabs in the Ceppo finish?
Just take a look at this precision craftsmanship!
The Kitchen Island
On the working side of the kitchen island, is our custom door style including satin brass applied moulding with a platinum stain. Complementing the Bentwood door style is the Classic Brass bin pull hardware!
Check out the Banker Wire decorative metal inserts on the end of the island making a statement.
A 4-foot The Galley Workstation, featuring the Tap and Pot Filler Tap in Brushed Gold Stainless Steel, and decked out with the newest Walnut accessories.
On the seating side of the kitchen island, a custom Grothouse walnut top with Anvil brass inlay is the perfect conversation zone.
For a clever “no hardware” door style we feature the Aperta door in Alder wood with a platinum stain.
Above the table, is a fold-down cabinet door with full access to a power strip.
The custom table crafted of White Oak was designed for a stylish place to sit and conduct a meeting.
Audio Visual Wall
A play on cabinetry orientation with a Smoked Oak finish represents a Japandi Design which celebrates minimal design style.
The TV Monitor scrolls through our project gallery for an elevated client experience.
Eco Domo recycled leather veneer in Shagreen Pattern is a worthy and beautiful detail in the display niche!
Bentwood Signage Wall
Custom walnut millwork presents both textured and flat paneled details for a stunning showcase!
Sherwin Williams “Rosemary” painted behind the walnut millwork, is just the pop of color we needed for this design to be complete.
