ANNOUNCING THE 2025 KITCHEN CONTEST AND BILL ALGIER AWARD

Celebrating Great Design

At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens we are inspired everyday by the outstanding residential designs our dealers create utilizing both the Bentwood™ and Harmoni™ products. We thought now is the time to recognize, support, and promote the talent within our own national dealer network with the 2025 Kitchen Contest. In addition, we will honor 1 exceptional designer and project as an overall winner who will receive the prestigious Bill Algier Award!

Beloved kitchen designer Bill Algier touched many lives throughout his 30+ yr career at Bentwood, right up to his retirement in 2021. He was a true visionary, with a unique talent for creating beautiful, thoughtful luxury designs. His impact was felt by the clients he worked with as well as our own factory team who took valuable recommendations that helped us grow our product offerings. To honor such a talented friend, we developed the Bill Algier Award as a perfect way to recognize other outstanding dealer professionals.

We want to thank all of the talented kitchen designers within our national dealer network
and encourage you to identify projects that could be a winning project!

Bill Algier

Bill was born into the cabinet business, learning the craft from his father, an apprenticed German cabinetmaker. Bill worked in his cabinet shop on weekends and summer vacations through high school and college. He spent nearly 30 years creating and crafting some of the most beautiful and timeless cabinet designs, and is widely regarded as one of the best in the industry.

Most people don’t realize the amount of work that goes into getting cabinet sizing, trim and finish details just right. We sweat a lot of the details, so clients can walk into their finished space and have an immediate sense that it’s really well done and inspiring in every way.
