Industrial Chic Kitchen Refined for Luxury Loft Living

When a new residential development by Sulo Development broke ground in Chicago's exciting West Loop neighborhood, a unique opportunity to purchase one of the 28 luxury residences was presented to the Chicago real estate marketplace. Hayden West Loop was wildly successful with home buyers embracing the large open floor plans, luxury amenities including custom cabinetry by Bentwood, amazing city views, and Industrial style. Alan Barker, Interior Architect of Lamar Johnson Collaborative, was working with one of the penthouse owners looking to personalize their space with a very elevated Industrial Chic theme. Soon Steve Karp, Design Director at Bentwood of Chicago, was brought in to collaborate with Alan and the homeowners on this amazing unit project.

Condo Remodel Before and After – Ready for Family Fun!

When a special opportunity to purchase a condo with amazing views of Lake Michigan become available, homeowners quickly bought the property for a family get away residence. The building location was prime North Shore Chicago real estate, and the unit was in excellent condition-- but had not been updated in over 30 years. Good thing the new owners had vision and embraced the opportunity to transform the space! The clients engaged Steve Karp from Bentwood of Chicago for a kitchen design solution that would update this space, both aesthetically and functionally for modern living. Rustic Opulence for a New Estate Home

When a special new construction project in the Houston area was developing, local interior designer, Julie Goudie of Julie Goudie Interiors talked with Shawna Roorda at Bentwood of Houston about the project vision. Julie was impressed with the wide range of custom cabinetry and finishes available for her client’s expansive project. So, when the time came to enlist the full team of creative professionals, Shawna was asked to be part of the project team. Winchester Architects had been busy creating the spacious estate home the clients desired over the last couple of years and Ellis Custom Homes was now ready to start the build. The large-scale open-space home with sweeping views creates a great connection with the outdoors on this beautiful property.

Worth the Wait – A Mountain Contemporary Forever Home

At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special Dealer project, as well as highlight true professionals in the kitchen business. One of our newest dealers is Al Rosenthal of Alpine Kitchen Design located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We originally met Al at our KBIS booth when exhibiting at the Orlando and Las Vegas trade shows-- “This booth really got my attention,” Al shared. “A high-quality product with full range of door styles and finishes was something I was looking for.” So, when the time was right, Bentwood Owner Kevin Bryant was pleased to set Al up as a new dealer and welcome him into the Bentwood family. But a special treat was working with Al on his personal mountain contemporary kitchen.

French Bistro Style for the Perfect Cook’s Kitchen

When a couple from the City of Chicago was ready to move to the North Shore suburbs, they knew finding the right kitchen designer was key. The couple had purchased a Ranch home with gorgeous property adjacent to prestigious golf course and were ready to start remodeling. The homeowners liked what they saw and experienced at the Bentwood of Chicago showroom. A connection was made with Steve and Stephanie Karp who understood the French Style Kitchen vision, love of cooking, and gracious point of view for this special project.

There, Moll met Senior Kitchen Designer Bill Algier, who shared the same passion for: fine home and kitchen design, luxury living, cooking, entertaining, and enjoying life! As a successful author, TV personality, lifestyle influencer, and overall creative talent, Moll Anderson knew Bill was the right talent to collaborate with for her own special project.

When a Colorado interior design firm needed to connect with a local custom cabinetry resource, introductions were made to Bentwood of Houston. The team from Associates lll Interior Design felt confident Bentwood of Houston could accommodate their special client project where premium walnut was the material of choice! Not only was this material specified throughout the entire residence, but attention to natural finishes and custom furniture grade details were key for executing this Modern design Houston high-rise project.

Ultimate Entertaining Space for Empty Nesters

We wanted to share a timely project that celebrates entertaining at home that will have you thinking about updating your own recreational space in the future. When Interior Designer Debra Moore stopped by the Bentwood of Chicago showroom at the Merchandise Mart and met Senior Kitchen Designer Steve Karp, she was impressed and quickly set up a client introduction meeting. Debra's special client project involved taking an existing penthouse located on the beautiful shores of Michigan and transforming it into an Empty Nester Sanctuary. After a successful design collaboration like this, all we can say is ‘WOW’.
